All You Need to Know
At Popular Destinations, I understand the concerns many have regarding resuming travel and the safety for themselves and family. I am committed to keeping you updated regarding the precautionary measures travel wholesalers are taking to ensure safety for their passengers.
CDC requires that all cruises in US waters must assure that 98% of crew members and 95% of passengers have been fully vaccinated.
Cruise lines are getting set to resume business since COVID-19 shut down. Carnival's newest ship, Madi Gras , sailed to its home destination at Port Canaveral and will start operating its 7-day itinerary on July 31. Royal Caribbean's newest ship Odyssey of the Seas will also set sail in August. Other brand fleets are scheduled to set sail effective in August 2021.
TSA Mask Requirements
The Transportation Security Administration requires passengers to wear mask while aboard all transportation systems. These efforts have been put in place to continue to minimize and control the spread of COVID-19 and other variants. Carnival Cruise Lines has mandated a mask requirement in many of the congregated areas of the ship. In addition and to better protect their passengers, Carnival is requiring a negative COVID test taken no more than 72 hours prior to embarkation for all passengers.
